that's right, Na Pahu is officially one year old and the baby we knew not so long ago - runnin' around aimlessly - dropping pop flies - striking out - touching the wrong home plate - is all grown up...and really drunk...as a scheduling snafu had Na Pahu drinking in the bleachers for a solid hour and change prior to a showdown with our favorite red-shirted arch-nemesis...Public ASSistance. after a quality win last week - and a solid year of 'suck' - Chuck decided to pity us with an opportunity to build the first ever Na Pahu Piha winning streak.in true Na Pahu fashion it wasn't looking too promising as we puttered around with P-ass for four innings. i wish i could say we 'battled', but that would be a gross overstatement - our bats were junk - but luckily so were theirs
after four action-lacked innings, P-ass held a flaccid 1 - 0 lead.
then maybe the alcohol kicked in...or wore off...either way, seven consecutive hits later and Na Pahu is sitting pretty
Undefeated...and it feels sooooo good.
